Some shots before vacation...

The week before vacation is always a challenge.  Trying to get packed, cleaned, organized, and all ready to go before our BIG adventure:)  But we did it and we are about to do it again next week---right after I just finished unpacking!  Oh well, that's how summer goes:)  Anyways, here are some random photos of the boys that I thought you might enjoy:

I have SO much to post---but we just returned from an awesome trip to North Carolina and I am lucky enough to have an old friend from Connecticut come visit for a few days!  So as we enjoy some great company...our house is turning into a toy strewn disaster, bags still need to be unpacked, and there are a pile of dishes waiting by the sink calling my name:)  So once I have more than a few moments to sit down and breathe, I have a lot of great pictures to post from our fabulous beach vacation!

Just a QUICK note...

Still on vacation at the beach in North Carolina, so that's why I'm lacking on the posts lately!  Courtney, my Chirping Moms partner-in-crime, is completely in charge this week so I can enjoy this time with my family and precious boys!  But I did want to tell you to hurry over and enter our awesome giveaway this week for some designer swim trunks for husband and son!!  I really wish I could win this one:)  And this is one is so easy to enter, you just have to leave a comment after the post (and double entry if you follow-we are almost at 100 followers!!!!)...

Pool Time!

I finally blew up our little pool for the summer and we had a blast for the first time this year!

 This one was NOT happy at first about the cold water;)

 But then after a few slides and playing with his trucks in the pool---he loved it!  He even fell completely under, but I was right there to save him!  Check out his slicked hair:)

I'm pretty sure we will be using this A LOT this year!!!

We are off to the NC beach tomorrow for a 10 day vacation, so if you don't see much on here----just think of the Rogers family blissfully sunbathing (or chasing two wild toddlers all over the beachfront, waking up in the night while we share a bedroom with our boys, and trying to survive two LONG days in the car)!  I'm sure I will lots of pictures to post when we return!!!!!

Loving the Park...

We recentl picked up some lunch and headed to the park for some lunch.  The park is only a couple miles away, but we hardly get there because we frequent the neighborhood parks so often.  But I do love this park as it has lots of trails, a shaded playground, and awesome picnic spots.

Picnic Time!

And now on to my post...a couple weeks ago, I was a co-chair of the Cranford Newcomer's Annual Picnic!  Despite a forecast of rain, we were lucky that the sun came out a few hours in advance and the event happened with flying colors.  About 130 adults and 60 children came to enjoy some time together---playing games, eating food, and just hanging out.  Despite running around most of the time trying to keep everything organized, I managed to capture a few pictures of our boys...

Going for Coffee...

One of our favorite things to do on a quiet weekend morning is to head downtown to get some coffee and treats:)  

This particular morning, someone wanted to ride his bike!!!  Doesn't he look like such a big boy?  (And his pajamas match his bike---there's a lot of neon green going on in this picture!)

 The boys love my frozen lattes that I get every once in awhile, but I don't really like them to have caffeine as they don't need one more ounce of energy in their bodies!  So this time we got them a frozen hot vanilla to split---I think they enjoyed it!

We can't eat inside most restaurants because these two have SO much energy and can't sit still for more than a few minutes!  But thank goodness for some outdoor seating;)

We love our Rock N Joe coffee in this house!
