We had another birthday celebration last week enjoying Andrew's four month birthday! At four months:
- Sleeping has become a little more difficult as Andrew wakes up to the world:) We are up more often sticking a pacifier in Andrew's mouth and usually once (sometimes twice) to feed! We were going to break the swaddle, but he sleeps SO much better with it so I am debating on trying again in a few more weeks. I just don't think he is ready! He now takes most naps in the crib (unless we are out and about) and sleep in there at night as well, but his favorite place to sleep is still in Mommy's arms, which happens when Mommy is just TOO tired to soothe Andrew back to sleep!
- Andrew continues to eat well, but still refuses the bottle! We are going to continue working on the bottle and I am really, really hoping he might get it soon. The doctor said that we can start rice cereal and pureed foods this month so I am hoping to get him started on food soon!
- Andrew is SOO SOO happy! He smiles all the time and just like his brother, he has the cutest dimples. His favorite things to do are bat at toys on the playmat, take a ride in the swing, run errands in the carrier, and relax in the bouncer. Andrew LOVES to watch his brother--the energizer bunny as he runs all around the house:) Aiden loves his brother: showering him with kisses, checking on him after naps, and sharing toys with him!
- Andrew continues to be an easy baby...which this broken ankle mom is very, very thankful for. I am really hoping to get this boot off THIS week so I can become the active mommy that I love to be!!!
- Andrew likes to wake up really early, jabbering up a storm sometime between 5 and 6 am!
- Andrew is a bit obsessed with his newly learned skill of rolling over from back to stomach. He will do it over and over and over...
I just love our little boy so much and can't wait to see what another month brings!!!
