Without further ado, let's introduce our little giraffe and dinosaur! I may be biased, but I think they are pretty cute:
Halloween was a bit crazy around here thanks to the wild snowstorm here in October. Since all the trees still have leaves (that haven't even started changing color yet!), the leaves caught all the snow before it hit the ground. The weight of the snow on the branches caused MANY of them to fall! We lost about seven branches from our front tree-as you can see in the picture. But we are lucky as nothing hit our house and we didn't lose power. There are SO many trees down around town and some people don't even have power, including schools which has made many school age children happy as there has been no school yet this week! Due to all the debris and downed power lines, many streets were closed for trick or treating. Our street was one of the few open streets so people came here to trick or treat and we had LOTS and LOTS of trick or treaters...we completely ran out of our candy and were digging through our cupboards for anything that might work for a treat for children!!!!
Andrew woke up first in the afternoon. He got a little play time by himself before Aiden awoke. He is a full on walker now and is all over this house!!!
And he found the candy bowl quickly...
My little giraffe...
Aiden woke up soon after and was ready to get in his Halloween costume. My little dinosaur...
Soon, Chris arrived home for work so we could do a little trick or treating!!!
First, our neighbor's house...
And someone got their first piece of candy...
Trick or treating was fun, but we only lasted about fourteen more houses before we returned home! The kids were tired out after a VERY early plane ride home in the morning from North Carolina and so we ended our night with a little earlier bedtime for all, including me!!!
It's hard to believe it's November already!

What a cute couple of trick or treaters. Is that an Iphone in Aiden's hand?
