So I'm just a little behind, but a little recap of October for you all! It's the perfect day to catch up because we usually head to church on Sunday mornings but since there is a dusting of snow on the ground and more on the way, we decided to hibernate at home today and catch up on a few things and spend the day in our pajamas! (Other than I may sneak out for a very much-needed haircut as long as it stays snowing and not ice!)
Now that the boys are in school, we are in the "school" routine now. A lot of our days are spent playing around the house, shuttling to and from preschool, and running weekly errands. But these daily routine days are nothing boring! The kids know how to keep me on my toes and we just go, go, go from sun up to sun down.
Some fun things that we did in October includes a trip to a big Fall fun event at a local farm near here. The kids got to go down big hay slides, climb through tractors and trucks, dig through corn, and more. We actually went for a birthday party for a friend so it was a double bonus---birthday party and fall fun in one! (A rare shot of Dad and his three kids!)
We also had our first visit from G and G Rogers! The kids loved seeing their grandparents and I'm pretty sure that Grandma and Grandpa loved seeing the kids. Especially baby Abby since they hadn't seen her since she was a newborn:) We spent a lot of time just showing them around the house and our new town, but they also took a fun trip up to the Baltimore Aquarium for the day while Abby and I held down the fort catching up on things around here!
We celebrated a 7 month birthday around here---seriously, where is time going?!?!
We did some pumpkin carving!
And lots of leaf playing...
And of course, we finished the month with Halloween! The kids had a little Halloween parade at school during the day and then we headed over to our friend's house for the night to trick or treat with them!
Another fun month has come and gone and maybe I will get the November update posted soon!
