Our little bug hit the three month mark last week!!! We have had a busy and exciting time in his third month of life:) Most of this month was spent visiting family down in North Carolina why Daddy finished up his busy season back in New Jersey. We had a FANTASTIC time with family, despite my broken ankle.
At 3 months:
- Andrew is my sleeping machine:) (I love that you are such a good sleeper, but it makes me wish you were awake more so I could see your cute little eyes open more often. But I just cherish those awake times even more!) He takes great naps, mostly in his swing all swaddled up still. Andrew also sleeps great at night. Most of the month, the little bug slept either in his pack and play or in the bed with Mommy while we stayed at Meme's house! He wakes up once or twice during the night to feed and then goes right back to sleep. Andrew likes to have his pacifier to help get him to sleep, but will spit it out often once he is out for good!
- Andrew continues to eat well-usually every 2.5 to 4 hours during the day and we usually get a 6-7 hour stretch at night. Sometimes, he spits up like crazy and other days, there is no spit up...it doesn't really bother me as his brother was a crazy, crazy spitter!
- Andrew is a little smile bug!!! When he smiles, his whole body smiles:) It can make anyone happy!!!! Recently, we get little coos and laughs out of Andrew:) It's so adorable and I can't wait for more to come in the next few months!!!
- Andrew likes to play: laying on his playmat (kicking himself around in circles), sitting in his bouncer (kicking himself right onto the floor if he isn't buckled in), watching his wild brother, getting stories read to, being carried in the Baby Bjorn, and just taking in the world around him. He has really soaked up the world around as he has been such an easy baby with all the different things that have happened this month: road trip to North Carolina, Mama's broken ankle, lots of different places and people in North Carolina, etc.
- Andrew is definitely a little boy-cute little chubby cheeks, lots and lots of different colored hair, and just a smile that melts anyone. Great Grandma Snow calls him "her little hockey player" because he are such a boyish looking baby!
We love you, Andrew! Happy Three Months!
