Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?

Last week, we headed on an adventure to Sesame Place near the NJ/PA border. We met our friends, the Coleman family, there for a nice family getaway trip. They flew in from St. Louis so it was great to spend some time with them since we haven't got to see them in almost two years. With four kids between the two families, we were busy, busy, busy chasing the little ones around!!!!!
Sesame Place was a LOT of fun! Aiden had a BLAST! We went on tons and tons of rides: carousel, flying fish, balloon ride, teacups, whirlwind bug, choo-choo train, lazy river, boat ride, and enjoyed some time in the splash pools. He loved everything-every time we got off a ride, he would sign "more" over and over hoping to get right back on. He has no fear, we have a little adventurer on our hands. He would squeal with delight, put his arms up in the air on some of the rides, and was SOOO excited about everything.
We also enjoyed a Elmo's World live show, watched the Sesame Street parade, and Aiden's favorite thing was dinner with all of the Sesame characters. We got lots of yummy food while Aiden got to meet and dance with the characters. I am hoping to get some videos posted in the next day or two of our little dancing boy!
It was a fabulous weekend getaway and I am looking forward to moving a lot closer so in the next few years, we can do a couple day trips here!
Here are some pictures from our fun-filled days:

Aiden loves, loves, loves the carousel. This was his favorite thing...I think we did it at least 10 times.

A Life Update...

So life has been keeping us very busy in the Rogers household:)

First, we have the growing baby boy inside...finally, I have taken a belly shot at 25 weeks! All seems to be going well and with everything that is going on in our lives, I have to be thankful for a pretty easy pregnancy. I have felt great...trying to work out as much as time allows, trying to eat relatively healthy, but definitely would love a few more hours of sleep! I'm exhausted by the end of the day! We are very excited for our new addition-now we just have to think of a name????
Second, this very active toddler is keeping me busy, busy, busy! Our days are filled with lots of playing, meeting up with friends, heading to the park, enjoying the outdoors, and a few moments of naptime. He is SO much fun-I love spending my days with him. He is starting to play really well independently and will often be found around the house with one of the following items: an old pink cell phone, an Elmo cell phone, his computer, his boots, a miniature yellow bus, a little toy steering wheel, or a piece of trash! Often, he is trying to carry all the items in his hands, even when we head for a walk with the puppies:) He is happy, funny, and energetic all wrapped up into a very petite toddler body!
Third, for those who haven't heard yet, we are moving in September to New Jersey (if all goes as planned and let's just hope it does!). We are in the process of buying our first house in NJ, which will cut Chris' current commute in over half-YEAH!!!!! It is a 3 bedroom house which is perfect for our growing family and the most exciting part, a FENCED IN BACKYARD! I can't even tell you how excited I am to let my little boys and doggies run free in the yard. Chris will be also be able to walk to the NJ trains, which will make his commute even better. We are very excited about our new adventure, although we aren't really sure what we are getting ourselves into. So we have been busy the past week cleaning out our house and joined up with a friend and ran a not so profitable yard sale, but did give a hefty donation to Big Brothers/Big Sisters! Even Aiden has gotten excited about moving as you can see below, he has already started packing! Thankfully, Chris' company takes care of the moving process so I don't have to worry about packing and moving at the beginning of my third trimester. One less stress that I don't have to worry about!
And so, in the end, I enjoy my few quiet moments of "me" time while Daddy is around, especially on the weekends. This weekend, I enjoyed lunch out with some friends and got a short Sunday afternoon nap in. It was fantastic! And the boys have just as much fun when I'm not around, as you can see:

Some random video clips:)

I am attempting to load multiple video clips at one time, we will see if it works:
Here is Aiden playing outside. This first clip, he is loading up his mower with gas and having a grand ole time in the pool:
In this clip, he makes some silly faces and shows off his crazy laugh:
This clip, he was more entertained with the plastic cup that held his oranges than his dinner. A common occurence in this house:
Here is a longer clip of our banana lovin' monkey! Again, he didn't really eat dinner...all he wanted was bananas. This was the second one of the night!
Hope you enjoyed our little boy!

Exploring the childen's museum:)

So I am way behind on posting, life has been busy, busy, busy here! But more details on our life in a post to come. Last week, Aiden and I spent some time in Raleigh with my mom, dad, and grandma. Our week was spent playing around Grandma's house (thankfully we didn't break anything or fall down any stairs!), eating lots of yummy, delicious food (home cooked meals that I didn't have to cook!, Bojangles, Sweet Tomatoes, and lots and lots of sweet tea), and exploring the area. One word that Aiden has added to his vocabulary is sweet tea-every time we go through McDonald's he says sweet tea over and over until he gets his own sample in his sippy cup. What a proud sweet tea lovin' mama! One of our favorite parts of the trip was our visit to the children's museum with Grandpa. Here are some pictures of our fun day:

Loves anything car-related!
Driving! (A new obsession...yesterday at the park, he stood at the toy steering wheel for almost an hour. That's all he wanted to do! He would say "Sit, Mama" and point to the nearby grass by the wheel while he would yell "Drive" over and over again. When we finally had to head home, he cried as I pulled him away from the steering wheel. I guess we will be making a trip back to the park soon for some easy entertainment:))
Another driving adventure in the play ambulance
Playing with a miniature house
Train table!
Taking a break with Grandpa
One tired out monkey!
Learning how to surf-maybe he will teach me one day!

THANK YOU to my parents and grandma for a great visit!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aiden and his baby brother:)

So this may be one of Aiden's first pictures with his brother (in utero, of course)! This was taken right around 20 weeks...a small bump and don't mind the fact that I live most days in my workout clothes, even if I don't get my exercise in! Anyways, you can see he is very excited to be a big brother in about 16 weeks!!!! The belly has gotten much bigger in the past month, probably due to the fact that I was on vacation for two weeks-I will try to post a picture as soon as I actually take one!
We have finally arrived back in CT and enjoyed a wonderful weekend with Daddy-lots of playing time, an Ikea trip, and a free visit to the children's museum. We are all worn out on this Sunday night-off to go rest!!!

Back from Paradise:)

We arrived back at Raleigh after a wonderful trip to Emerald Isle! We enjoyed lots and lots of beach time, swimming, yummy food, and lots of relaxation. Aiden loved, loved, loved spending a whole week with Uncle Andy-if only he could move closer than California!!! Here are a few more pictures from our trip:

Say "Cheese"

We are really enjoying our time at the ocean this week! Aiden even braved the ocean waves today-first along the water's edge and then a quick shallow swim with me! We take lots of walks in the sand, fill and empty our buckets many times, and eat lots of snacks. One of his favorite things to do is grab the camera out of my bag, bring it to me, and say "Cheese" as he waits to get his picture taken. Then, he likes to look at the picture after! Here are some of our many "cheese" shots:
