Happy Three Months!

WOW...Aiden is three months old!!!  And what a busy and exciting third month of life Aiden has had:)  At the end of this post, you will find his three month slideshow of our little man!

Aiden started off this past month with a trip to North Carolina to visit Grammy and Grandpa Ruff, as well as some relatives that live down there.  Aiden got to meet Great-Grandma Snow, who loved to smile and play with Aiden.  We enjoyed lots of great Southern food, meeting Grammy's students, shopping, and charming all of his relatives that he met down there.  Also, this month, Aiden slept his first night in the crib and has never gone back since!  After a warm bath and a feeding, Aiden still loves getting swaddled and rocked before putting him down in his crib right next to his magical seahorse that quickly puts him to sleep!!  

This month, Aiden had his first set of shots-OUCH!  Of course he cried and cried, but was quickly settled down and asleep before we got on the elevator to leave the pediatrician's office.  We had an unexpected second trip to the doctor's office this month because Aiden came down with his first cold.  It was so sad to see little Aiden with such a terrible cough and congestion-his chest would rattle all day long.  We spent a good part of this month staying in the house, laying near a humidifier, pumping saline nose drops in the babe, and making sure he slept on an incline!  Thankfully, he fully recovered from the cold and is healthy as can be.

Uncle Nate came to visit and met Aiden for the first time.  He did an excellent job holding him and loved watching basketball with his little nephew.  Aiden also met his first cousin, Clementine Cathryn Shoulberg who was born March 14th.  Aiden and I got the privilege of picking Clem and her parents up at the hospital and bringing her home-which was an exciting adventure in the Bronx!  We have spent a couple days this week down there-getting to know little Clementine and helping out as much as we can.  We are so excited that they live close so our little ones can play together often!

The rest of Aiden's month was filled with our daily activities.  He loves to sleep in the stroller or the Baby Bjorn as we take our walks with Cobi and Sheffield!  He loves to bat at the toys and kick like crazy on his play gym, especially the blue elephant toy.  He loves cuddling and chewing his giraffe blanket.  He continues to love napping in his swing, playing in his bouncer, and just recently has started playing in his Bumbo seat.  He loves to be read to and touch the pages as we flip through the books-especially his dog book and Sesame Street book!

I just love our little boy so much and can't wait to see what another month will bring him!
